Customer Data Platform Specialist

About the role
We are looking for a Customer Data Platform (CDP) Specialist to help us progress with creating a single centralized customer database containing data on all touch. We have an already advanced digital analytics tracking setup and our team plays a central role in transforming how DFDS orchestrates and activates user data. You have the capability to collect and unifiy first-party customer data from multiple sources in order to to build a single, coherent, complete view of each customer.
As a CDP Specialist, you will leverage your unique skill set to contribute to our growing Experience Orchestration team. You will partner with stakeholders across departments, create value through data-centric projects, and help shape our data-driven culture.
You will be responsible for managing and optimizing our CDP together with the team and stakeholders to ensure seamless data integration, analysis, and utilization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data strategies that enhance customer engagement and drive business growth.
Your key responsibilities will include to:

Monitor data flow, identify anomalies, and ensure data quality and consistency.

Collaborate with business, product, and data teams to ensure data needs are met.

Design, implement and maintain the CDP.

Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across all customer data sources.

Collaborate with marketing, sales, and IT teams to integrate data from various channels and systems.

Develop and execute data strategies to improve customer segmentation, targeting, and personalization in collaboration with marketing.

Analyze customer data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for optimization.

Create and maintain documentation for data processes, workflows, and best practices.

Provide training and support to team members on customer data platform usage and capabilities.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in customer data technologies.
About you
We expect that the ideal candidate has:
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in customer data management, data analysis, or a related role.

Strong understanding of, and experience with, working on a CDP and data integration techniques.

Proficiency in SQL, ETL and data modelling.

Experience with data visualization tools and data analysis software.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and collaboration capabilities in order to ensure data needs are met.

Experience with data privacy regulations, data governance and best practices.
The ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
