ABOUT THE JOB
Join us as a Data & Automations Student and be at the heart of our data-driven
mission to build a highly effiective, tech-enabled rental business. In this role, you’ll
work part-time with our Senior Data Scientist to roll out impactful data initiatives
across PNO.
Your assignments will cover both data analysis and automation. You’ll dive into
projects like optimizing rental pricing, using sensor data to enhance asset
management, and streamlining internal processes, such as automating invoice
handling. If you’re passionate about analytics, automation, and hands-on projects
in a dynamic environment, this role is perfect for you. Tooling wise we are working
primarily on Microsoft Azure Cloud with tools like Power BI, SQL, Databricks, Data
Factory, Azure Functions and Power Automate.
We would expect you to work around 20 hours per week but with flexibility for exam
periods etc.
SKILLS, EXPERIENCES & BACKGROUND
We’re looking for candidates who have:
- Are currently studying data science, analytics, statistics, or a related field
- Familiarity with Power BI, Power Query, or other Microsoft tools
- Knowledge of Python and SQL (a plus, but not essential)
- An interest in data automation, analytics, and AI applications
- A curious, proactive mindset and strong attention to detail
- Gain hands-on experience in a data-driven business environment
- Work in a flexible, part-time role that balances with your studies
- Engage with a team dedicated to positive impact and continuous learning
