Enterprise Risk Manager

Aarhus

FULL TIME

October 11, 2024

Are you skilled in risk management and are you excited about risk and compliance to ensure a broad view of risk in the ever-changing energy trading industry? And would you like to be a trusted risk partner to the trading teams? If so, you are in the right place!

The job
Here’s what the job entails
You will gather information on various types of risk and present an enterprise-wide picture of the most significant risks. You will be responsible for creating a thorough understanding of risk for our trading teams and ensuring the necessary actions are defined and implemented by the relevant risk owners.
Concretely, your responsibilities include:
  • developing and implementing an Enterprise Risk Management framework based on market standards and accepted industry practices
  • raising awareness of operational risk and risk management within the organisation and taking a leading role in promoting a risk-based approach to business development
  • reporting on operational risks in line with the Enterprise Risk Management Framework
  • building great relationships between risk management and risk owners throughout the organisation
The team
Meet the team
You will join a dynamic Risk Management unit within the leadership team. We make the most of our diverse backgrounds and are united by a drive to constantly improve and adapt to changes in the business and the markets we operate in.
Risk Management works across the entire value chain and has interfaces with the majority of DC’s units in making informed decisions that balance risks and rewards for the business.
You will play a key role in strengthening the organisation by combining risk management with strategic decision-making and using your thorough understanding of the entire business.
Rasmus Steffensen
Head of Risk Management
Your qualifications
But enough about us… over to you!
As you will be collaborating with people from all areas of the organisation, we are looking for a colleague with excellent stakeholder management skills. We see you as someone motivated by teamwork and committed to creating valuable and consistent solutions. We also value a positive attitude, and we picture you as eager to learn how our solutions are structured and how we operate across the company.
We also imagine that you:
  • have a relevant educational background, for example in Economics, Finance or a technical field
  • have at least five years of experience, preferably in a similar role
  • are proficient in English – both written and verbal
Please note that it is not a requirement to have prior knowledge of the energy industry to enter this role.
