Work Supply is recruiting an EU Taxonomy & Sustainability Controller on behalf of our client. In this newly established role, you’ll combine expertise in financial consolidation and ESG reporting, with a particular emphasis on the EU Taxonomy and related regulatory compliance. You’ll work closely with the company's ESG team, leading the integration of sustainability principles into financial reporting and ensuring alignment with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead group financial consolidation and controlling with a primary focus on ESG and EU Taxonomy reporting.
- Collaborate with the ESG team to implement new reporting requirements effectively and ensure ongoing compliance.
- Develop and refine sustainability reporting frameworks that meet both internal and regulatory expectations.
- Act as the company's primary expert on the EU Taxonomy, translating complex regulations into actionable and compliant reporting processes.
- Solid background in group financial consolidation, reporting, and controlling, with a keen interest in ESG reporting.
- Relevant financial qualifications (e.g., Master’s degree, HD in accounting, or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of financial reporting and consolidation; familiarity with CSRD and EU Taxonomy is advantageous.
- Proactive and confident in driving ESG and EU Taxonomy reporting initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills, with an ability to engage diverse stakeholders across the organization.
- Detail-oriented yet able to see the broader strategic impact.
- Proficient in English, as the role involves cross-border collaboration within an international environment.
