The Field Service Engineer is responsible for servicing and qualifying our customer’s equipment consisting of biopharma equipment such as Filtration, liquid chromatography systems (ÄKTA process, ÄKTA Avant etc). You will be working in laboratories and pharmaceutical production plants on customer sites, and will be responsible for performance of customer visits, including customer coordination, travel planning and ordering spare parts. You will be expected to take part in our 24/7 stand-by team. This position reports to the Area Service Manager and is part of the Nordic field service team with 20 engineers across Sweden, Finland, Lithuania, and Denmark. This is a field-based role with travelling mainly within Denmark and the southern part of Sweden. You will be closely related to our our office in Vallensbæk, Denmark.


What you will do:

• Plan & perform preventive maintenance, repair and installation visits at the clients
  
• Plan & perform qualifications (IQ/OQ)
  
• Promptly complete and return relevant paperwork (and electronic evidence) associated
  

Who you are:

• Background in Biotechnology, Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, Automation, Electronics, or any related technical/scientific experience. This can come from a Bachelor's degree, Associate’s degree, military experience, or an equivalent technical education or professional experience
  
• Fluent in either Danish, both oral and written. English as working language
  
• Good communication and social skills, and effective organizational and administrative skills
  
• Valid driving license and EU work permit with ability to travel extensively within Nordics and Baltics
  

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Experience of chromatography or cell culturing products
  
• Experience in troubleshooting mechanics, electronics, software/computers/networks or fluid handling systems. Experience of IQ/OQ
  
• Experience of working in laboratory or clean room environment
