About the Role
The Finance Manager reports to and provides support and guidance to the Company’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO) on all matters related to the financial reporting of the company. This includes but is not limited to, accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, and tax and audit compliance.
The Finance Manager's responsibilities include the following:
- Oversee daily operations of the European finance and accounting department, currently consisting of 4 people.
- Manage month end close procedures and prepare monthly financials.
- Communicate with sister company accounting personnel to ensure proper inter-company account reconciliations and consolidations, and monitor transfer pricing.
- Oversee the financial audits and tax compliance with independent accounting firm.
- Research and implement relevant industry accounting and reporting standards.
- Ensure financial results are timely, presented consistently, accurately and comply with IFRS.
- Establish, maintain and document internal controls, policies, and procedures aligned with IFRS standards, compliance and best practices.
- Ensure royalty obligations are monitored, calculated accurately, reconciled, and paid in accordance with contractual obligations.
- Responsible for VAT reporting.
- Assist in preparation of forecasts and budgets.
- Support the CFO in the continuing development and growth of the company and implementation of business strategies in support of rapid development and growth.
Qualifications and Educational Requirements

You have a natural ability to create and manage processes to ensure deadlines are met, and bring with you a detail oriented mind-set, paired with strong analytical skills. Furthermore, you have a high degree of integrity and ethics.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- +7 years of relevant experience
- Danish language on professional level
- Previous knowledge with Financial Reporting, Month-end close, Statutory Reporting and IFRS
- Understanding of Budget Software system, Prophix a plus
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience with software company financial reporting and compliance
- Expertise working in international companies, particularly with the US
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
