Global Vice President, Alzheimer's Disease

The Position
- Develop, shape and execute strategies and key opportunities to establish the commercial entry in AD.
- Drive commercial assessment of internal assets and fit with global strategy, including assessment of Novo Nordisk capabilities and synergies with current value chain and portfolio.
- Identify and assess potential commercial partnerships and alliances.
- Lead Therapy area development, shaping the strategy and recommending strategic development options to relevant Governance Board to maximize the project opportunity.
- Provide materials and tools allowing to execute on launch strategy in the most impactful way
- Partner with the portfolio global team.
- Lead and develop team with focus on strong performance and high level of engagement, in alignment with the Novo Nordisk Way.
- Develop relationships and secure engagement with internal and external stakeholders for strategy development and execution, and successful leadership of therapy area entry. Present Novo Nordisk strategy and ambition to external Key Opinion Leaders, PAGs, diagnosis, NGOs, national and international stakeholders.
- Master’s degree in business or science.
- +10 years of pharmaceutical industry experience, preferably across the value chain: early product development, lifecycle management, commercial strategy (both short and long-term), affiliate execution incl. P&L understandin.
- Experience entering new therapy areas, and alliance and partnership management.
- Experience working with R&D, marketing, pharmaceutical products, or medical devices with international exposure in a large organization.
- Solid leadership experience – delivering proven results through a high performing team.
- Strong capacity for work and managing multiple projects, delivering high quality on time.
- Strong results-orientation.
- Ability to successfully navigate and comply with relevant Novo Nordisk policies and SOPs.
- High energy level, curiosity, ambition for self and for the brand.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Flexibility and open and honest communication are a must.
- Great stakeholder management capabilities.
- Excellent strategic and analytical skills as well as verbal, communication, facilitation and presentation skills. Fluency in written and spoken English.
