About the position
As the Group Senior Category Manager - Climate and Renewable Energy, you are responsible for executing the strategy within the category across the Solar Group.
You have the overall responsibility for the category across all Solar markets, and will be the manager for 8 highly skilled and dedicated employees, who together cover the disciplines Category Management and Product Management. It involves analyzing data, understanding consumer behavior, and collaborating with suppliers to achieve business objectives efficiently.
Geographically your team members are placed in Denmark, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, and Poland.
Your focus areas
Profitable growth is key to success in this position, but profitable growth is only achievable if you have sound insights into the market and trends, as well as the product lifecycle and product portfolio. In other words, you will have to take ownership of the category assortment strategy, the development of our Solar Concepts, supplier agreements as well as the pricing strategy.
Digital leadership is fundamental for Solar. Various activities are ongoing to develop and improve this part of the business and the digital customer experience. The journey continues and will represent a significant focus for the Category Management area.
In addition to the strategic focus areas and goals, your job will include hands-on action and taking part in the daily operations. The job also includes handling some local category tasks and close collaboration with various internal stakeholders like Market Managers and Sales to define and decide on market initiatives.

You report directly to the Director for Category Management on Group level.
Your profile
We are looking for a strong, decisive, and creative category profile who harvests energy - Leading a growing category with great products for the electrification. Experience from previous jobs within the field of Climate and Renewable Energy is a plus.
Furthermore, we are looking for:

• Leadership experience combined with a strong business acumen
• Technical know-how and preferably also experience from Photovoltaic (PV) Systems or Heatpump markets
• Experience in negotiations
• Experience working within an international and cross functional team
• Business Management or Engineering background
• Analytical skills and focus on data driven decision making
• English skills on B+-level
