Moving from innovating within a project matrix, we are now gathering colleagues in a team dedicated to medical device software innovation. They are more than ready to support this product and the future innovation pipeline, growing and maturing our medical device software development competencies.

A new team – of experienced and knowledgeable colleagues
Based out of the Coloplast Headquarters in Humlebæk, you will be part of Digital Data and IT and our e Commerce & Digital Solutions department. Within this department, we are now building Digital Health consisting of 6 colleagues focusing on innovating medical device software.

Ensure smooth processes that pave the way for innovation
You will be the overall head of our software development in the medical device space and work closely with R&D, Commercial, Regulatory Affairs, Global Quality and the rest of Digital Data & IT on medical device software development and software bundle releases.

Specifically, and with attention to the IEC 62304 standard, you will spend the first year structuring the team, their development efforts, processes and releases for maximum impact. This entails maturing our processes, software bundle releases, and architecture to secure technically successful launches of next wave markets.

Moreover, you will:
Be in charge of our software development in the medical device space
Handle product maintenance & support, expansion to new markets, product development and later new products
Ensure a structured project, timeline, backlog planning with R&D, Commercial, Regulatory Affairs, Global Quality and rest of Digital Data & IT

Solid experience with digital software development
In this role, we are looking for your ability to create structure, allowing you to make sure we follow the 62304 while working efficiently.

Additionally, we imagine that you:
Have 10+ years of experience with digital software development (in any role)
Have some app development experience
Possess strong project management and stakeholder management skills
Have some people management experience
May have some experience with medical device software development, 62304 and/or agile development, but this is only a plus
