We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Product to lead our Alsense Portfolio, a critical component of our Digital Services in Danfoss Climate Solutions.
This leadership role is ideal for someone with a strong background in digital product development and Io T services, coupled with exceptional leadership skills to guide and inspire a talented team of product managers and product owners.

Job location is preferred to be in Denmark, but we are also open for candidates working out of our other Danfoss office sites in Europe (E.g. Hamburg in Germany, Venice in Italy, etc.). A hybrid model can be discussed. Some travelling is required.
You will be referring to the Head of Product Management, DCS-DP Digital Service Product Management.

Job Responsibilities

In this pivotal role as Head of Product “Alsense”, you will define and drive the product and portfolio vision and mission contributing to the Digital Services goals and vision.
Your first tasks will include shaping up the midterm roadmap for one of our biggest products in the Alsense portfolio as well as facilitating the goalsetting process for our 2025 product goals.

• Define and drive the vision and mission on both portfolio level, but also for the individual products together with the respective product teams.

• Together with Product owners and Product managers define, drive, and communicate product goals that align with our overall business objectives.

• Manage the revenue and profitability for each of the products and product families and explore product enhancements or introduce new services as necessary.

• Oversee product lifecycle management across the portfolio.

• Work collaboratively with functions across the company, such as marketing, engineering, sales, and finance, as well as with external parties to identify and develop both product and value propositions.

• Ensure that deliveries meet financial, schedule, and customer expectations by working with Sales, R&D, Operations, Quality, Finance, and other functions across Danfoss.

• Ensure solid business cases for new products and new functionalities and for each milestone.

• Act as the voice of the customer in gateway meetings and ensure product ownership within our agile development processes.

• Establish and develop a robust Digital Product Management organization across Danfoss Climate Solutions, including people and talent management, building core capabilities such as business acumen and industry knowledge.

• Lead a global, diverse team of high-potential and high-performing individuals.

Background & Skills

The ideal candidate has passion for digital innovation and a technical interest in software and Io T; has a track record of taking responsibility, bringing a hands-on mentality, and driving topics forward independently; have extensive experience in managing and growing B2B Saa S solutions in an industrial context.
To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Skills in Product Discovery, conducting research, customer interviews, and prototype validation

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders in an international environment

• An independent, proactive, pragmatic, and solution-oriented work style

• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to think strategically and to present vision/strategy effectively to senior management

• Technical proficiency with MS Office, backlog management tools, and project and portfolio management tools

• Experience in the refrigeration and cooling industry, energy efficiency, and technical operations in food retail/service providers (highly desirable)

• Fluent communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing
