Our healthcare team at FAKS is looking for a volunteer coordinator who will contribute to recruitment, onboarding and ongoing well-being.
Description
Our healthcare team works on projects together with researchers, health authorities and private actors in the healthcare field.

The volunteers have a health professional background, and use their expertise to improve treatment and conditions for chronic patients - especially chronic pain sufferers.

The volunteers make a huge effort - and this must be recognised, which is why well-being, growth and especially retention are important to us.

We are therefore looking for a coordinator who can take responsibility for future and current healthcare volunteers in collaboration with the other volunteer coordinators and our healthcare project coordinator.

You will work with the following areas
Recruitment incl. preparation of notices, screening, interview and evaluation
Plan and coordinate onboarding (introduction, mentor/foal arrangement, etc.)
Engage the volunteers in a way that makes sense both for them and for the association
Ensure ongoing dialogue with the volunteers with a view to well-being, retention and ongoing motivation
Plan social activities

The work is primarily online, but there may be physical meetings regarding the projects and internal coordination. It is expected that you can lie approx. 3-5 hours per week (primarily weekdays). Some weeks there will be less and others more.

You speak and write Danish and English fluently

The Painline is a free telephone advice line for people with chronic pain and their relatives, which FAKS has run since 2014. We have more than 30 volunteers attached, whose backgrounds are social workers, pain nurses, psychologists, therapists/coaches, physiotherapists, occupational therapists and pain advisers (people who themselves with chronic pain).
