Our healthcare team at FAKS is looking for volunteers who want to work on exciting healthcare projects.
Description
Our patient association receives many offers from researchers, health authorities and private players in the health field to participate in larger and smaller health projects where we can contribute from the patient perspective.

This is partly connected to the fact that our volunteers have created a large healthcare network over a number of years and respect for our knowledge and way of working. Furthermore, patient involvement is on the rise in Denmark, as it is a health policy wish and requirement from certain foundations.

We are therefore looking for more volunteers for the team who work on various healthcare projects and initiatives.

The project type is diverse! We work with digital health services, research, participate in the preparation of scientific articles, specialist areas within pain, sit on patient councils in hospitals, collaborate with professional organizations and much more.

The work is primarily online, but there may be physical meetings regarding the projects and internal coordination.

It is expected that you can lie approx. 3-5 hours per week (primarily weekdays). Some weeks there will be less and others more.

FAKS is run by volunteers. We work to improve conditions for the more than 1.3 million Danes affected by chronic pain and their relatives. This is done via health policy work, collaboration with health professional institutions, general information, research and offers for pain sufferers and relatives. The Pain Line is a free telephone advice line for people with chronic pain and their relatives, which FAKS has run since 2014. We have more than 30 volunteers associated with the background of social workers, pain nurses, psychologists, therapists/coaches, physiotherapists, occupational therapists and pain counselors (people who themselves with chronic pain).
