Kvadrat’s Product Development is looking for an intern to join the team in Ebeltoft for the Spring semester 2025. The internship will be for a minimum of 5 months and will begin January or February 2025.
About the internship
Being an intern in Kvadrat's Product Development department, you will always find yourself collaborating with others.
You will proactively work to assist the development of new products from idea to commercial launch, collaborating with textile engineers and designers, suppliers and internal departments while ensuring the high-quality standard of Kvadrat.
As your daily work will include a variety of assignments you will need to accommodate varying departments at the office and coordinate multiple projects and tasks.
Your tasks will include but not be limited to:

• Supporting the development of curtains incl. colour development
• Warp setting cards
• Cutting and organizing colour blankets and lab dips
• Update digital overviews
• Prepare digital presentations to sales, colour cards for sales and samples for testing
• Naming procedure
• Collection mapping
• Research and marked analysis

Knowledge, skills and competences to be acquired during the internship
Through a “hands-on” approach we wish to offer you the possibility to develop your competences and to grow your knowledge about textile design and development.
We will do our outmost to grow your knowledge about and understanding of:

• Textile development incl. workflow and deadlines
• How to collaborate (onboarding and handovers)
• Textile performance
• Insight into curtain as a category including subcategories
• Insight into how Kvadrat work with sustainability

Your competences
You have a positive mindset and value teamwork.
You are process-oriented and able to prioritize tasks and deadlines.
You are highly organized and detail oriented.
You have strong communication skills in written and spoken English.
You are undergoing a relevant education.
