We are currently looking for a Key Account Manager for some of the biggest laboratory customers globally.
Your mission…
As Key Account Manager focusing on the Laboratory industry, you will be responsible for handling some of the biggest customers in FOSS with total revenues around 10 MEUR. In this role it is vital to build, manage and develop long-term relationships, both external and internal, to achieve the yearly targeted sales goals. You will be developing and executing short- and long-term customer strategy, tactics, and operational plans. Furthermore, you will play a key part in implementing innovative new solutions within Mycotoxin measurement and mineral analysis with these big customers. On the medium term you will likely contribute to implementing additional innovative solutions across industries and global reach, through a business development sales approach.
Your contributions will be...
  • Growing the business revenue in a long-term healthy way to the benefit of both customers and FOSS
  • Building and nurturing strong relationships with key stakeholders to make sure we will keep our position as their preferred partner in the markets where we play
  • Leading collaborative touch points with your base of Key Accounts and making sure you are always on the forefront of any customer news, dialogues, or disputes
  • Sharing customer knowledge and understanding across sales, marketing, and services teams globally
  • Implementing and maintaining account plans for internal use and execution
  • Leading negotiations with the customer that build on your growth strategy for the customer
  • Identifying new trends and sales opportunities
  • Making sure FOSS is the customers’ preferred provider for analytical solutions and data management
  • Implement our newest solutions through business development sales
  • Making sure that the customers utilize and gets maximum value out of their FOSS solutions
Preferred profile includes…
  • Having experience/knowledge from working with global laboratories, such as Eurofins or SGS e.g. as employee in a global laboratory or as supplier to the industry
  • Having familiarity/understanding of the challenges laboratories are facing in their daily operations
  • Having experience with sales of CAPEX technical solutions or Business Development sales
  • Having previously worked with Key Account management
  • Being located (or willing to relocate) to Denmark. Alternatively, a European location could be acceptable if the candidate has a strong profile
  • Being able to think long-term and analytically. That means having a good understanding and ability to access long-term opportunities, strengths, weaknesses, etc.
  • Being a team player. Beyond dealing with customers the candidate must be able to collaborate across cultures, business areas, and understand FOSS internal structures
  • Being an influential leader throughout the organization, without having direct management responsibilities
  • Having speech and writing fluency in English is a must
  • Having strong business competency with Microsoft Office is a must. Word, Power Point, and Excel
  • Maintaining high performance standards with required travel, 60 days yearly can be expected in this position
