Accountant/Financial Controller

Your role as an Accountant
As an Accountant at Time Xtender, you will play a central role in managing the finances of the organization. You will be working closely together with your colleagues in the Finance Circle, whom you will meet either remotely, at our satellite office in Aarhus, or in Copenhagen when needed.
Time is our only finite resource, which is why we at Time Xtender constantly strive to simplify, automate, and execute on what matters most. We are a digital company that likes to streamline processes and use digital tools to avoid repetitive work.
This role is located in Denmark!
Your chunks of work and required skills:

Financial accounting:
- Keeping books updated on accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Bank payments and bank reconciliations.
- Keeping books accurate and up to date in terms of accrual accounting and assuring compliance of local law.
- Expense handling to ensure accurate financial statements (automated in Pleo).
- Preparation of financial documents, such as income statements and balance sheets.
- Create reports and analyses.
- Help streamline processes.
- Create and manage budgets.
- Calculate VAT and statistics.
- Administration of employee assets, such as phones, company cards, access cards, etc.
- Continuous improvement and documentation: Review and update accounting processes regularly.

Collaboration with internal team and external stakeholders, such as auditors, to ensure legal compliance and documentation.
- Time management: Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of relevant technology, ideally Business Central (Dynamics 365) and MS Office.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills in Danish and English.
- Analytical approach and numerical accuracy: Ability to evaluate financial information and make accurate financial calculations and recommendations.
