Your new role
As our new Lead Finance Expert, you will be responsible for driving the technical implementations of M&A’s initiatives and data migration strategy together with relevant process and functional stakeholders. You will be leading integrations projects from a finance perspective ensuring a seamless process’ and technical integrations to the global platform in Ramboll. You will be a part of a passionate team of business consultants where your role also will be to support as an expert and documenting finance requirement, analyzing business processes, and ensuring the ERP system meets these requirements. Bridging the gap between the finance team and the technical team.
The team you will be part of:
ERP Solutions implement, manage and support Ramboll’s global financial business applications for approximately 18.000 users. The business applications include Ramboll’s ERP system (Maconomy, Basware & Rydoo Expense and other up and downs stream systems). An important part of our job is to support the Ramboll One Company approach.

Your key tasks and responsibilities:

As our Lead Finance Expert, you will be challenged with the following tasks:
  • Be a part of due diligence activities
  • Manage complex M&A projects from start to end on a detailed ERP integration level
  • Deliver data analysis and models for merging ERP data as a part of company integrations
  • Drive and support local rollouts to ensure smooth M&A transition with little disruption to the business
  • Conduct stakeholder management with system owners and finance community as well as other process owners as a part of M&A activities to ensure End-to-end integrations for M&A’s
  • Drive improvement initiatives on automation areas within finance
  • Conduct governance of finance and accounting solution in our ERP (Maconomy) system, to ensure that it complies with global standards and legal requirements
  • Handle change requests including driving business case creation and verification, specification for development, functional impact analysis, solution verification and testing on high complex finance requirements
  • Understand and drive changes towards our technical team (integrations and ERP Development teams)
  • 10+ travel days per year can be expected

Your starting point

  • You hold a master’s degree/HD in economics or finance and have at least 10+ years of working experience in a central accounting department in an international environment and can prove participation in complex M&A integrations
  • You find it easy and interesting to stay updated on current accounting standards, GAAP, VAT & TAX rules, IFRS etc
  • Your background is process-driven from an international context, including having insight into taxation, revenue recognition and intercompany principles in a very complex company setup
  • You have a strong interest in and flair for working with systems and data
  • You possess substantial analytical capabilities and excellent problem-solving skills, are outgoing and can act as internal consultant for the business
  • Strong project management skills, deep understanding of finance processes and excellent communication skills
  • In-depth knowledge of ERP finance modules (preferable Maconomy), understanding of finance operations, problem-solving skills, and training abilities.
  • You have a strong interest in bringing finance processes and principles together with IT usage of our ERP System
  • Proficiency in English is a must (Danish is nice, but not mandatory), and you need to have a good understanding of geographical and cultural differences

  • You are a good team player, able to cooperate and communicate clearly with different sets of stakeholders as well as able to share and listen.
  • You are systematic and possess a structured work style with an innovative and problem-solving approach to your tasks.
