The position
As LEAN Partner, you play a central role in optimizing our office-based production operations and coaching our leadership team on LEAN methodologies. Your role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement, eliminate waste, and drive efficiency gains across the organization.

Additionally, you increase visibility and logic within our organization and processes by identifying, spearheading, and supporting breakthrough projects (I-cycles) with comprehensive diagnostics using Value Stream Mapping, leveraging data-driven insights to ensure smooth flow and process kaizen.

Your key responsibilities include:

Partnering with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize opportunities for process optimization within office-based production operations
Utilizing our LEAN tools & methodologies to streamline workflows, reduce waste, enhance productivity, and systematically solve problems
Serving as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, coaching on LEAN principles and practices at all levels to foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence
Collaborating with stakeholders to develop and implement standardized work processes and performance metrics to sustain improvements
Driving the transition of the LEAN Supply System to a local leader-driven model, supporting yearly assessments and gap identification, anchoring key annual objectives within the Area Business Plan

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, we envision you:

Hold a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field
Possess a certification in LEAN, Six Sigma, or equivalent process improvement methodologies
Demonstrate proven experience in implementing LEAN principles and driving process improvements
Showcase strong coaching and leadership skills with the ability to influence and inspire change at all levels of the organization
Bring excellent project management and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven and results-oriented approach
Display fluency in both spoken and written English

On a personal level, you have a unyielding drive to transform processes and culture for the better, embodying the “we can do better” mindset and behaviour of a LEAN change agent. You have outstanding communication skills, allowing you to build productive working relationships and effectively influence others when needed, all while thriving in complex and fast-paced environments. You possess the capacity to understand business requirements and successfully align them with the overall strategy. Additionally, your excellent problem-solving skills empower you to identify and measure the efficiency of the implemented changes effectively.

About the Department
GCM Strategy and Business Development is part of GCM, responsible for managing outsourced production from project to operations stage. We are office based with shopfloors at Contract Management Organisations on a global scale.
