Measurement Engineer

We are looking for a new colleague to join an exciting project with our client in the renewable energy industry.
Location: Greater Copenhagen, onsite 2-3 days pr. week required

QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES

Have extensive knowledge of Metocean measurements, incl. key technologies, such as wave buoys or radars, current profilers by ADCPs, as well as floating or ground-based Li DARs, with biodiversity knowledge being a bonus
Have relevant formal education or work experience and is in possession of a can-do attitude
Has valid GWO or is able to obtain relevant offshore certificates
Are used to interacting with contractors and are familiar with the procurement process and negotiations
Have a good knowledge when it comes to data and possess a basic knowledge of IT
Are preferably acquainted with the full life cycle of offshore wind farms incl. experience with managing contractors
Driver´s license for normal car
Is able to travel globally to install, maintain or disassemble measurement equipment
Is expected to travel every 4th week to offshore sites
Strong English skills - both oral and written
Valid EU work permit making you able to start right away

AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY

Scope, procure, install and maintain their Measurement campaigns related to metocean and environmental data
Based on internal customer´s requests, you’ll design and execute the Metocean measurement campaigns, related to e.g Wind, Waves, Current, Sea bed conditions and Environment primarily for their operating assets but potentially also for upcoming wind farms or wind farms under construction
