Location:Hillerød, Capital Region of Denmark, DK
Are you drawn to manufacturing development for large scale productions? Do you thrive on teamwork, collaboration and are motivated by new discoveries? Are you ready to take on the technical responsibility for suppliers of metal components? Would you enjoy going to work every day knowing that your contribution makes a difference?

Then join us in Device Manufacturing Development and be part of something unique! This position will provide you with excellent opportunities for personal and professional development.

The position
As our new colleague, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust manufacturing processes for the metal components used in our drug delivery system. You will use a risk-based approach to ensure the safety of our products and ultimately our patients. Below you can find a detailed overview of the kind of responsibilities that you can expect in this role:

  • Developing and maintaining, in collaboration with product owners, assembly, QA and suppliers, the right technical solutions based on a well-documented set of requirements.
  • supporting the validation of manufacturing processes based on the requirements that are critical to the quality of the produced metal components.
  • using analytical methods to identify root causes e.g., LEAN SPS to unexpected events or deviations from specifications, providing solutions to the issues and implementing relevant preventive measures.
  • reviewing the design of new metal device components and challenging specifications based on manufacturing capabilities.

You will also be part of the global support of Novo Nordisk manufacturing lines. This means that your experience and knowledge will benefit colleagues in our sites all over the world, and that you can count on a large support network of experienced experts when solving the challenges of your new job.

To succeed in this role, you need to have:
  • A master’s degree in a relevant Engineering area, such as Mechanical, Materials/Metallurgical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
  • Preferably 2-3 years of working experience in the development of manufacturing processes for metal components. However, if you are newly educated and find metals as fascinating as we do, do not hesitate to apply for this position.

  • A continuous improvement and quality mindset.
  • Experience with LEAN and systematic problem solving (this is an advantage but not a requirement)
  • Availability for up to 20 travel days a year
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English.

As an individual, you have effective communication skills, an outgoing personality, and the ability to form and maintain relationships with stakeholders across and beyond the organization. Also, you are great at engaging and managing stakeholders and have a strong ability to follow through and have a keen appreciation of quality. Additionally, you enjoy sharing your knowledge, providing support for your colleagues when they need it.
