We are looking for a People & Culture Specialist to coordinate HR operations in our Copenhagen office. As the first local HR professional, you get to further build and develop the People & Culture function in close collaboration with the Head of Denmark. This role reports to the Head of People & Culture, Finland and Denmark, and you would have the support of your colleagues in Finland in your work.
Our small Denmark practice is working in an entrepreneurial setup and has ambitious growth plans. The Danish team is integral to Bearing Point's global operations and collaborates closely with our other Nordic practices, especially Finland.
Your role:
As a People & Culture Specialist you will provide coaching and guidance regarding HR topics while developing trusting relationships with leadership and employees. Your main responsibility is to ensure effective day-to-day HR support and service delivery in the following areas: recruitment, retention, benefits, payroll, HR compliance, on-boarding/off-boarding, reporting, and employer branding. In addition, you will ensure the local implementation of firm-wide and regional processes and take part in different projects and development initiatives. As the first Internal business support person in Denmark, you will also be the local point of contact for time reporting, travel & expense, and general office tasks.
People & Culture Specialist will play an important role in empowering our people to succeed, and in making sure they are well looked after. This versatile role will have room to develop as the organization expands. This is a permanent and full-time position, however, if you prefer a part-time option to begin with, we can discuss that option too.
We are looking for:
- 2-4 years of experience from a generalist HR role, including recruitment
- Basic understanding of employment legislation and compliance requirements, HR policies, and best people practices
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Academic degree in relevant field (e.g., M.Sc. Business Administration or Social Sciences)
- Fluent communication skills in both Danish and English
- Experience of working in a professional services organization is considered as an advantage
