About the role
We are looking for our new passionate and experienced Product Owner to help take our cloud infrastructure and self-service platform to the next level.
We are a large organization with a growing number of production systems utilizing our cloud platform and we consider cloud as a strategic enabler to reach our digitization strategy.
Our scrum teams at DFDS have a ‘you build it, you run it, you own it’ responsibility, which also includes responsibility for resilience, performance, security, and cost, and our cloud infrastructure and self-service platform team is committed to enabling this through the provisioning of automated tools, good practices, and scalable infrastructure. By empowering teams with self-service capabilities, we ensure they can efficiently manage their own cloud environments while maintaining a high standard of security, cost-efficiency, and operational resilience.
When you join us, you will:

• Own the vision and roadmap for the platform that enables our scrum teams to efficient and effectively build cloud-native solutions and services.

• Develop and maintain long-term objectives in alignment with key stakeholders.

• Set ambitious yet achievable objectives and KPIs for the team, ensuring successful delivery.

• Be the link between our cloud target architecture and cloud platform.

• Work closely with our scrum teams to improve their developer experience while aligning initiatives with our strategic goals.

• Own the product backlog, i.e., build and prioritize backlog items and coordinate with other teams and Product Owners on shared deliveries.

• Ensure the successful launch and adoption of new functionality.

• Empower the team to be self-driven, efficient, and collaborative.

About you
As a Product Owner, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of our developer experience and cloud journey and contribute to the success of our digitization strategy.
To help us achieve this we are looking for someone who has the following qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Product Owner, with a proven track record of successfully delivering cloud solutions and driving high stakeholder involvement.

• Experience working in agile and cross-functional teams in an enterprise organization with cloud technologies.

• Understanding of cloud technology and proficiency in modern software development.

• Fluent in spoken and written English

• Excellent communication skills to bridge the gap between stakeholders and colleagues from diverse professional and cultural backgrounds.

• As a person, you are curious about new cloud technologies, and you can engage with various stakeholders like engineers and cloud architects in a constructive and collaborative way.
