The job
Reporting to the Director of Production Support, you will be part of a strong team of highly skilled and very engaged colleagues.
As our new Production Quality Engineer, you will play an essential role in ensuring a high product quality of our analytical solutions for the food industry. You will be the key to ensure swift handling of production challenges in many shapes and sizes, and in close corporation with production technicians, New Product Introduction (NPI), R&D product developers, QA and test developers amongst others.
Primary task
Problem solving and optimization is our primary focus. In production support we take full ownership of systematic technical problem solving, supporting our Danish production set-up to deliver high quality products.
No days will feel the same, and you will be working with a range of stakeholders, technical challenges and technologies, as well as supporting our production in optimizing product workflow and setting higher standards.
Qualifications
Overall, we are looking for someone with a can-do attitude that is committed to facilitate systematic problem solving using LEAN principles, as well as plan and facilitate structured trials as part of problem solving.
We see two different angles to this position. Either to have a strong technical background with a relevant engineering education (e.g. a bachelor's or master’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering). Or education and practical experience as industrial technician within mechanical, traveling technician, marine engineer or similar. Having minimum 5 years’ experience from other similar position is considered an advantage.
Personal skills
We expect that you:
Knowledge within high-tech instruments in a high mix/low volume production is an advantage. Driving license will be a advantage due to the fact that transport will be needed between Frederikssund and Hillerød from 2026.

The job

- Have excellent communication skills, both technical and non-technical
- Have the ability to solve complex technical and practical problems
- Have a wide practical knowledge within mechanical, pneumatics, flow, hydraulics etc.
- Have a good knowledge about LEAN tools/principles or ready to learn
- Are data driven, dynamic and address issues before they become problems
- Have a quality mindset with focus on securing optimal production quality of the product regarding performance and reliability
