The position
As the Proposal Manager - Automation Engineering, you will be a driving force behind our commitment to excellence in automation solutions. This role is pivotal in presenting our capabilities to clients through meticulously crafted proposals, showcasing how our innovative automation technologies can transform their operations.
Further your key responsibilities will be:
- Creating DCS Solutions with high security and availability for the energy sector that will fulfill the new critical infrastructure demands.
- Collaborate with technical experts to gather insights and inputs for crafting technically sound and innovative proposals.
- Engage with clients to understand their automation needs and tailor proposals to address specific challenges.
- Lead the end-to-end proposal development process, ensuring proposals are aligned with industry standards and client expectations.
- Provide support and guidance to the sales team in presenting and defending proposals to clients
What do you bring to the field?
We foresee that the ideal candidate comes with either a background and experience in sales of engineering solutions/principles, or experience within technical automation, which will be key in crafting compelling proposals that not only meet but exceed client expectations. Most importantly, you are motivated and curious to learn and develop your skills within developing successful proposals for automation engineering projects with support and guidance from your skilled colleagues.
Furthermore we expect strong collaboration skills, initiative, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment to be successful in this role.
To put this in bullets; we hope that you have several of the below:
- Basic knowledge of automation engineering principles, technologies, and industry standards.
- A plus but no requirement if you have a Bachelor's degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- A plus if you have a proven track record in developing successful proposals
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with technical teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to understand client needs and translate technical solutions into compelling proposal content.

Depending on your European location, the role can be either fully remote, hybrid or from our offices in Allerød, DK or Sleaford, UK. Regardless of your location, you should expect occasional travel to HQ in Allerød, DK, especially in your first onboarding period.
