We are looking for an experienced F&A professional to join the team when our Operations Director goes on maternity leave. This is a unique opportunity to work with an international scale-up company in the Quantum Computing industry and become part of laying the foundation for future commercial successes. You will carry the operational responsibility for several areas and must have hands-on experience with the activities mentioned below. Please notice that this is a time-based role, but for the right person, longer-term opportunities may be possible.

Education level: Degree in Finance and Accounting

Period: February 1, 2025 – April 2026

Scope: 30 hours per week

Your remit will include the following areas:

Hands-on work and management of processes for operational finance, working closely with our external accounting services provider and the headquarter in Japan
- accounting, budgeting, reporting
- cash management, AP & AR
- timely submission of VAT and tax reports
- month/quarter/year end close and annual report
- compliance

Provide support for government-funded innovation projects (e.g. Horizon)
- budget and time/project delivery accounting
- project reporting to public authorities (i.e. Innovationsfonden, European Commission)

Sales Operations support
- sales pipeline overview
- KPI analysis & reporting

Go-to person for Admin/HR support
- travel and expense management
- absence and holiday registration
- team activities

Various ad-hoc tasks including occasional marketing support, So Me-posts etc.

Requirements:

Demonstrated experience in the areas listed above
Self-motivated and interested in learning
Some familiarity with international operations
Experience managing external suppliers considered a plus
Flexibility to occasionally adapt to different time zones for calls and/or travel
Professional proficiency in Danish & English
Permanent residence and work permit for EU/Denmark

We offer attractive and flexible working conditions. You will be based in our office at the Bio Innovation Institute in Central Copenhagen, where we are co-hosted along with several other tech and biotech companies.
