The Position
In this 18-month temporary position, you will be balancing a mix of starting up- and driving projects in line with our business strategy. You will actively engage in our operational tasks, while also contributing to the development, optimization, and possible re-evaluation of our conventional analytical techniques. Your main tasks will be to:

Develop and implement relevant assays for projects in a Chemistry, Manufacturing and Control (CMC) analytical department.
Validate the assays and equipment to the appropriate level.
Combine hands-on experience from the immunoassay world with modern aspects such as automation.
Optimize and develop protocols for assays on Biomek robotics.
Participate in cross organizational project groups, collaboration with other departments both in Research Units and in Manufacturing (Product Supply).

Qualifications
To thrive and succeed, we expect you to have:

Master’s degree and/or a Ph D within pharmacy, biomedicine, or similar.
Experience within operations in pharma industry or a GMP regulated environment.
Relevant experience within immunoassays, eg. ELISA’s from the pharmaceutical industry or similar.
Previous experience and interest in working with Lab-automation and digitalization is strongly preferred.
Proven project leadership skills.
Full proficiency in written and spoken English and Danish.

About the Department
CMC (Chemistry Manufacturing and Controls) Development makes a real difference for patients with chronic diseases across the world. We develop, manufacture, and distribute drug candidates for non-clinical and clinical trials. We are around 60 people organized in three teams within the department. We develop bioanalyses for analysis of cell banks, in-process samples, drug substance, and drug product samples for the entire Novo Nordisk project portfolio from early research to clinical trials all over the world.
In our team, we develop immunoassays for monitoring of process related impurities and in-vitro potency of drug candidates, and support process development. You will join a team of 19 highly skilled scientists and laboratory technicians who work closely together with the rest of the department on projects to deliver on time at the right quality.
