Sales & Marketing Director

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you. Our Sales & Marketing Director has recently transitioned to a new role within our regional sales team, creating an opening for a new Sales and Marketing Director, who can build upon the success already achieved and take our sales team to even greater heights.
Key Tasks
- Develop and cascade the sales strategy, monitoring the delivery of sales objectives in line with business strategy, financial goals, and policies.
- Communicate the company's market leadership position, vision, and strategy to internal stakeholders, customers, and the local market.
- Build a clear understanding of the potential of the market in area’s such as segment opportunities, industry opportunities, geographic penetration and the effectiveness of deploying the commercial programs.
- Drive market acquisition and retention strategies to maximize sales growth and optimize profits.
- Support customer strategies and contract negotiations, to enhance customer retention, business growth, and profitability.
- Establish processes and infrastructure to support sales performance, growth, and resource utilization optimization.
- Monitor competitive activities, gather market intelligence, and disseminate best practices to relevant parties.
- Leading and inspiring your team to drive continuous improvement initiatives, enhancing processes, practices, and customer satisfaction to new levels.
Qualifications and key requirements
- The ideal candidate has over 5 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in the logistics industry. A strong commercial mindset is essential along with the ability to build long-term relationships with key stakeholders.
- An education in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field, preferably a Master’s degree or relevant university level education.
- Proven track record of success in a sales leadership role, preferably in the logistics industry.
- Strong strategic thinking and ability to align sales objectives with overall business strategy.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey market positioning and vision.
- Demonstrated experience in driving market acquisition, retention strategies, and optimizing sales growth.
- Proficient in contract negotiations, supply chain management, and customer relationship management.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing sales team.
- Ability to collaborate and influence cross-functional teams
- Fluency in English
