The job
We are looking for a Product Owner for our Foss Connect platform (FCO). FCO plays a key role in FOSS as it is the connectivity platform between FOSS analytical instruments (hardware) and our software solutions. FCO is part of IQX, our recently launched Software-as-a-Service platform serving companies in the food and feed industries. Through IQX, FCO helps offering our customers benefits such as instrument remote management and monitoring.
The position is based at our headquarters in Hillerød, where many of the product stakeholders are also based: R&D, IQX Operations and the other products POs. As the FCO development team is based in Warsaw, you should expect some travelling of about 3-4 times a year. You will be reporting to the Product Portfolio Manager and joining the Product Owners team. As PO you will also be part of the FOSS Connect scrum team which includes developers, and testers. The team has been already working together for 3 years.

The job

Primary tasks
- Owning the product backlog for the Foss Connect platform
- Regularly align with the product stakeholders (R&D, Operations, other POs) to inform decisions on work items value and priority
- Meeting regularly with the Foss Connect development team during sprint planning, review and retrospectives
- Update and implement the product strategy and long-term roadmap
- You have a background as software engineer, computer science or IT
- Minimum 2-3 years of work experience as a Product Owner
- Previous experience in working with connectivity platforms will be considered a plus
- Experience with Microsoft Azure
- Familiar with Azure Dev Ops
- Since FOSS is a global organization, it is a prerequisite that you are fluent in English
- Strong communication skills to ensure product goals are clearly understood by the team and organization
- Stakeholder management to ensure a successful collaboration and expectation management with the many product stakeholders
