Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines to process pharmacovigilance data from various sources including ARGUS, complaint systems, and other safety systems
Implement data integration and ETL processes using Databricks to ensure seamless data flow and accessibility
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, analysts, and pharmacovigilance experts to understand data requirements and deliver solutions
Ensure data quality, integrity, and security by implementing best practices and monitoring systems
Optimize data workflows and storage solutions to improve efficiency and performance
Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues and provide technical support to stakeholders

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Proven experience as a Data Engineer, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry
Strong proficiency in Databricks and experience with ETL processes and data integration
Familiarity with pharmacovigilance data and safety systems such as ARGUS
Proficient in SQL and other database management systems
Experience with big data technologies and cloud platforms
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree in a related field
Certification in Databricks or related technologies
Experience with additional data tools and programming languages such as Python, R, or Scala
