We are seeking a passionate Senior Manager, Business Finance Corporate to join our growing team. As the newest member of the Ascendis Pharma team, you will play a crucial role in driving the evolution of the Business Finance Corporate team role for financial reporting to management, the quarterly corporate financial forecasting process and long-term financial planning. You will work closely with stakeholders across the financial organization.

You will be joining the Business Finance team consisting of colleagues in both Denmark and the US. You will be based in the headquarters in Hellerup and report directly to Jacob Nielsen, Head of Business Finance, who is also based in Hellerup.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Continue to enhance the Quarterly Forecasting approach for Ascendis under the Beyond Budgeting framework.
• Deliver Corporate Financial Management reporting, which create valuable insights.
• Financial Reporting to Bo D.
• Work closely with IR and CFO on background material to support Quarterly Earnings communication.
• Long term financial planning
• Cross-Functional projects – Partnering with Business Finance, other Global Finance functions and other parts of the organization as needed
• Business partnering

Qualifications and Skills:
You hold a relevant academic degree – preferably a Master’s degree in Finance or Economics. You have +5 years of experience within a similar role in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.

Furthermore, you have:

• Experience with cross-functional partnering
• Strong financial modeling capabilities
• Skillful with Financial Systems, Cognos, Power BI and generating robust analysis
• Project management skills to drive changes & impact
• Good communication skills
