About the role

Do you want to help us revolutionize an industry & build your experience with technologies intended to improve the bioavailability of BSC class II & IV drugs? We are looking for a Senior Scientist & a Senior Product Developer.

As a Senior Scientist &/or Senior Product Developer specializing in cannabinoids, you will play an important role in our organization and being part of a global team within our cannabinoid category. This position will be part of conceiving and developing innovative products, upscale/technical transfer into production from start to commercial launch. We are seeking a visionary and forward-thinking person who can use their expertise to drive product development, tap into external networks, translate ideas into tangible products, and actively identify and secure patents for new ideas and concepts.

Job description:

You will be executing our strategy within technological & pharmaceutical development by developing solid dosage forms such as powder, compressed gum, tablets, and chewables etc.

You will leverage your experience from R&D and process to select suitable formulation technology approaches based on physicochemical properties of the API, to improve the delivery.

You will prepare and execute on product development protocols/reports and ensure documentation at right level as compatibility, physically/chemically stability, release/dissolution, processability, homogeneity, optimal sensorial experience by masking and designing well tasting prototypes and upscale/technical transfer.

Being part of establishing best practices in the product development process and collaborate with multiple departments, procurement, project management, production, quality, and regulatory teams.

You will prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to management and collaborators, demonstrating our capabilities and innovative solutions.

Identify and assess opportunities to patent novel ideas, concepts, and discoveries.

Work closely with legal experts to secure patents for intellectual property.

Travel for meetings and cooperation, joined development projects, exhibition, seminars, external cooperation etc.

Your background:

You have a minimum of three years of experience in pharmaceutical development and delivery of oral solid dosage forms at lab and pilot scale.

Experience with formulation and process technologies such as tablets, solid dosage form, granulation, encapsulation techniques and experience with formulation stability schedule.

You have experience with selection of suitable formulation technology based on physicochemical properties of the API, solubility and excipient compatibility data.

Development experience within the cannabinoid, pharmaceutical and/or nutraceutical industry.

Expertise in upscale and technical transfer of R&D products into production.

Suitable experience within analysis, QA/QC and regulatory affairs.

Experienced in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) will be an advantage.
