We are strengthening the team to become even better at supporting our customers around the globe with customer centric multiproduct solutions in the production of cheese and cheese products.
We are looking for a highly skilled candidate with expertise foundation within dairy, preferably cheese combined with business development and with a commercial mindset. The role is preferred to be based in Denmark with further career development opportunities.
Welcome to Global Marketing & Business Development, Business Unit Cheese
You will become part of the Global Marketing & Business Development team under the Business Unit Cheese composed of 15 highly skilled people representing 8 nationalities. The team is located in Hoersholm, Denmark, but with a few colleagues locally based in US & Ireland. Our team has a global role and collaborates closely with all the other departments such as Application, Sales, R&D, Production etc. as well as our customers all over the world. You will be reporting to the Head of Global Cheese Segments.
Our main task is to craft & drive the global strategy for the cheese segments and maintain strengthening market presence based on market & customer insights to grow the business according to the overall company goals. This also includes development of go-to-market plans and creating robust innovation pipelines with a focus on delivering high-quality bio-solutions for the cheese segments. The segments also secure an all time up to date portfolio with a healthy range of product offerings. In addition, bridging the communication between the customers’ needs and the various departments & stakeholders is a key competence to manage.
As a Global Marketing & Business Development team, we have the responsibility of making the content creation of internal and external promotion documents, incl. trainings and sales materials etc. In addition, we also guide Sales of setting financial targets and review the business and multiproduct offerings.
In this role you’ll make an impact by:
In the team we have a “Lead” of each of the cheese segments. Your role will be to actively collaborate and share with the Lead of the Cheddar/Continental cheese segment to ensure seamless continuity and cohesiveness for the segment.
Support crafting the global cheese segment strategy
Support crafting the global cheese segment strategy
- Supporter and input provider to the Segment Lead to craft the strategy
- Drive selected projects within the Cheese Segment
- Supporting the development of robust go-to-market plans
Support Bio Solutions portfolio & innovation pipeline
- Support the strategic development of a robust innovation pipeline
- Deliver on selected projects with focus on execution excellence
Maintain a healthy product range
- Proactively identify segment range maintenance
- Identify and support portfolio management updates
To succeed you must hold:
- M.Sc degree in food/dairy/bioscience & technology or equivalent with minimum a few years of experience within the dairy/food industry - where you have preferably worked with cheese
- Preferably commercial experience and business development understanding
- Have a global and customer centric mindset
- Ability to troubleshoot and stay calm in agile high pace work environments
- Be proactive, creative, outspoken with focus on speed, results and quality
- You enjoy working in an international environment and have multicultural understanding
- You have excellent oral and written communication skills in English
Travelling is expected to approx. 5-15 days yearly in relation to understand and support our customers and sales team.
