The workplace is in Lyngby in the Copenhagen area with a flexible hybrid ability to work from the office and home, with potential to work from other countries.
You will work in Denmark’s largest urban and transportation planning environment with more than 140 dedicated employees. In your daily work you will:

Be part of a team performing analyses on agenda-setting infrastructure projects
Develop your expertise within traffic and transport modelling
Learn to build and apply traffic and transport models

You have an interest in working with traffic and transport models for active transport, public transportation, and private transportation (cars and large vehicles).

The first step to success in this role is that you are eager to collaborate with the people around you, whether they are colleagues, partners or customers. Developing ties with others is something you do by acting respectfully and delivering on your promises. And you never get set in your ways but keep exploring new insights and ways to improve.
In addition, you have:

A relevant educational background as an engineer, mathematician, economist, or similar
3-5 years of applicable experience
Proficiency in utilizing data and operating technical software
An interest in traffic and transport models (such as Visum, Aimsun) and potential microsimulation models like VISSIM
Good communication skills

We are looking for someone who collaborates well with others and can keep a clear perspective, even when facing intricate scenarios. You are network-oriented, both internally and externally, and have a good understanding of how traffic and transport models can be integrated into interdisciplinary urban and transportation projects.
