As a Tender Specialist in Service Department at Fair Wind you will cooperate closely with Project Managers, COO, corporate support functions and other Business Units.

Your main responsibilities will include:

Preparation of Service proposals in form of Request for Information, Request for Quotation and formal Invitations to Tender
Analysis of tender packages
Confirmation of local requirements (eg visas, licences etc)
Preparation of costs and commercial offer
Respond to customer questions during tender process.
Creation and preparation of compelling proposals
Collaboration with COO Service and Management teams in the regions, including subject matter experts (for example Head of Blades), to deliver tender packages to clients
Management of opportunities within the Salesforce CRM environment to ensure up to date records on tender progress
Participate in sales pipeline and business review meetings to inform of tender progress
Support in collection of market and competitor information to enhance the Fairwind value proposition in the commercial offer.

What we expect from you:

High level of commercial skills with experience in bid preparation, proposal drafting and tender compliance
High level of numeracy and English literacy
Advanced user capability in Microsoft Office products
University/College education preferred. Eg Bachelor degree
Experience in use of CRM (eg Salesforce) and portal (eg Ariba) systems
Good communication skills
Adherence to deadlines plus flexible working to ensure timely delivery of submissions
Experience in the wind sector, in Engineering or in particular Blade related repair services, is appreciated.
