Then the job as a Process Management Engineer running process optimization projects at Novonesis’ enzyme factory in Graasten, could be something for you.

Welcome to the Process Optimization team…

With reference to the Plant Manager, you will be part of the process optimization team and do your part to ensure that we execute and complete our projects on time.

As a specialist you will be a key person, when we have to solve challenges and make decisions in your area. An important part of the job is to select and ensure follow-up on key KPIs. You will see yourself in a job where you are needed and where you have the freedom to achieve your goals.

We therefore place emphasis on independence, stability, and good collaboration skills. The factory's opening hours are currently Monday to Friday from 06-18, but your working hours may vary in periods.

In this role you’ll make an impact by:

Being part of the operation as a specialist
Implementing technical process optimization projects
Independent initiation of project proposals and continuous improvement initiatives
Explaining and motivating changes across the organization
Ensure implementation of projects, as well as the subsequent follow-up of on gains

In this position, you can develop your skills as a project manager with many stakeholders across our production site and globally in Novonesis. Classic project management with ongoing follow-up on progress with project plans, stakeholder management and follow-up on business cases and budgeting will also be part of your tasks and responsibilities.

To succeed you must hold:
An education as engineer, ideally in process, chemistry, dairy or food, combined with at least 2 - 4 years of experience in a similar role in the food, pharmaceutical or other process-related industry.

We imagine that you also hold the following competencies:

Applies specialist knowledge and detailed technological expertise for structured problem solving
Good skills and experience in carrying out projects
Accepts and tackles demanding goals with enthusiasm
High performance through teamwork
Strong communication skills, also in English
