Can you create high delivery security along with good terms and conditions? Are you experienced in negotiating technical products on Strategic level? Moreover, you see yourself as a natural link between R&D, Procurement and production. Then you may be our new colleague in Procurement.
With reference to our Procurement Manager, you will be part of a team of five employees. Purchasing consist of Strategic and Operational Purchasers. As Strategic Purchaser, you will be the link between Strategic Purchasing, R&D, production and Group Procurement.

Key responsibilities
As Strategic Purchaser your primarily tasks will be, in corporation with category management, to select suppliers and negotiate terms and conditions. You will work closely with both the Procurement team internal and on group level in Kverneland Group. Your focus will be on:

• Selecting suppliers and negotiating prices and terms and conditions to support our objectives
• Develop supplier relationships to improve the company's Supply Chain and delivery performance.
• Implement tender processes on a periodic basis and evaluate available materials, components, manufacturing and value-added services.
• Select, develop and manage a supplier base that supports our quality and technical requirements and ensures competitiveness now and for the future.
• Early involved in the design process to support the selection of the right technologies and suppliers of Kverneland Group Kerteminde.

You will be responsible for quality and costs of purchased parts.
We help you get off to a good start and contribute with sparring, good advice, encouragement, and concrete tools as well as knowledge.
Workbase is in Kerteminde, Funen, Denmark.
Your profile
To succeed as Strategic Purchaser, you are preferable educated as B.Sc. or M.Sc. with several years of ‘hands on’ Strategic purchasing experience from technology-driven innovation processes and development projects, preferably from the production industry handling technical products. You have a good track record within purchasing and delivery on time. You are fluent and at a high level in both Danish and English, spoken and written.
Personally, you are independent by nature and you like daily progress in your projects hence your natural way of following up and reporting deviations on time. You work in a structured way and driven by the fact that your solutions create value in our production process. We have a changeable everyday life, which underlines the importance of structure, efficiency and a good overview in pressured situations.
As Strategic Purchaser, you get a large interface, your good collaboration and communication skills enables you to work cross-organizational and communicate at a high level at all times.
