Join our dynamic Maersk Corporate Real Estate team in Copenhagen as a Student Assistant. If you are passionate about data analysis and management, while having an interest in real estate, we want to hear from you! By joining the Corporate Real Estate Team at A.P Moeller-Maersk you will gain valuable and applicable skills within data analytics, data management, while getting great in depth understanding of real estate and stakeholder management in a very dynamic and global firm. Job Description:
This role offers a unique opportunity to engage in data processes related to real estate portfolio management, strategic decision-making and global stakeholder management within the Asset Strategy & Strategic Partnerships function. Our team oversees Maersk’s global office portfolio, supporting workplaces where our 60.000 employees come together worldwide. You will gain valuable experience and get a broad network with the entire organization and partake in a team that has top-level exposure in the Maersk Organization. In this role, you will play a key part in understanding, connecting, and optimizing data with a focus on the many facility-related systems across Maersk. This will allow you to make a meaningful impact across multiple teams, enhancing processes related to data quality, transparency, and connectivity. Your efforts will support better decision-making and drive organizational improvements.

Key responsibilities:
- Solving complex business problems by optimising data to enhance data driven decision-making
- Assisting in strategy development and produce impactful presentations
- Maintenance of current data platforms while providing support for integration of new platforms
- Provide support for ongoing projects
- Tackle challenges in a structured and analytical manner
- Assisting in sourcing and negotiations relevant to the Real Estate and Facility Management scope
- Support ongoing processes of combining data from different databases/systems
We are looking for:
- You have at least 2 years left in your studies ideally in the field of business, data management or similar relevant field
- A proactive self-starter, who can take ownership, work independently, and achieve results
- You have an independent drive, are goal orientated and want to make a difference
- A passion for numbers and are experienced in finding significant meaning with large data sets
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience or passion in environmental, social and governance (ESG) and its application to Real Estate
- A super Microsoft Office user especially in Excel and Power Point and is confident in running analysis leading to data driven decisions which you can transform into meaningful messages using Power Point and Power BI
- Experience or interest in systems like SQL, VBA, Python, or Power platforms, especially Power Automate, is a big plus. Since this role involves streamlining, automating, connecting, and comparing data across multiple systems, familiarity with languages or tools that facilitate data integration would be highly beneficial
- A highly result-driven and solution-focused individual capable of managing a variety of tasks in parallel
