The position is based in Brøndby with 10-15 weekly working hours depending on your studies.

Learn, contribute and make a real impact
As a Student Assistant in our R&D team, you’ll have the opportunity to support the development and testing of new products and materials, making a real impact on the future of energy.
In this role, you will be an integral part of our R&D team, working closely with senior engineers and experts.
Your main responsibilities will include:

Preparing materials and test samples under the supervision of R&D experts
Assembling or building test setups as agreed with senior engineers
Participating in and performing laboratory testing
Authoring technical notes and reports for review

You will also support test activities at NKT labs and DTU labs, focusing on cryogenic test stands with high current and accurate voltage measurements. This role offers a unique opportunity to learn about and develop superconducting cables, contributing to improving energy efficiency and reliability.
You are detail-oriented, curious and willing to listen and learn
We are seeking a student in engineering disciplines such as Energy, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical, or Mathematics. Ideally, you have 1-2 years of university studies or practical work experience. You should be comfortable working in a multi-lingual environment and able to communicate and write excellently in English.

You also have:

High attention to safe behavior and focus in a lab environment
Positive, inclusive and open-minded
Proactive in reporting and calling out when support is needed
Proficiency in MS Office 365
Knowledge of Lab View, Comsol, Mat Lab, or similar tools would be a nice add-on
