The Customer Project Execution (CPX) organization is responsible for installing, commissioning and finally handover wind farms to our customers. Working closely together with the customer and other stakeholders is a key parameter to ensure this happens safely, cost efficient and with a high-quality standard.
For this role, you’ll be joining the Cost Management team, for the NCE Region working on On-and Offshore projects. This team is responsible to develop and maintain construction costing standards for Vestas projects and to deliver high quality project budgets to support sales activities and project execution.
You’ll be joining an international multicultural and diverse team of 8 people, with a positive attitude and approach towards the business.
We offer a wide range of opportunities to develop your knowledge in wind turbine industry, CPX budget creation activity and interpersonal skills in our department. You would mainly support our team on our day-to-day tasks but can also take separate projects for relevant business cases.
- Supporting the team in the core tasks for delivering construction budgets and elaborating all cost bases for the projects in this region
- Perform cost analysis for cost optimization activities and review cost drivers with stakeholder (VPS, Sourcing, Controlling, Project Execution)
- Support in developing cost estimation models, weather assessments, and processes linked to cost creation and cross-project benchmarking
You are in your Bachelor or Master studies in a commercial field, e.g. industrial engineering, business administration and furthermore, you bring:
- Understanding of technical requirements, ideally within energy industry
- Cost awareness and business understanding
- Some level of experience with IT tools and process optimization
- Fluent proficiency in English and Regional Language
- Good Microsoft Office skills

Primary work location: Aarhus, Denmark or Hamburg, Germany
This is a part time position, where you will be expected to work 10 hours per week during the semester with the option to work more during the semester breaks.
