We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team for an Intermodal company. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the movement of freight, managing schedules, and ensuring that all operations run smoothly and efficiently. You must have your own computer, cellphone, internet, and a suitable home office setup.
Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage the scheduling of freight transportation, including the dispatch of drivers and equipment.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and other team members to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
• Monitor and track the status of shipments, addressing any issues or delays promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of all dispatch activities, including driver logs, route information, and shipment details.
• Collaborate with the operations team to optimize routing and scheduling to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving any transportation-related issues.

Requirements:

• Fluent in English, both written and verbal is a MUST.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with drivers, customers, and internal teams.
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and within a remote team setup.
• Problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset.

• Access to a quiet workspace conducive to making phone calls and maintaining a professional environment.
• Availability to work flexible hours to accommodate different time zones if required
• Shift Hours: 11:00AM EST to 8:00PM EST, Monday to Friday
