As a Logistics Customer Representative, you will analyze and provide logistics information to aid cost-effective, efficient, timely, and high-quality logistics solutions.
Some of your responsibilities are but are not limited to:

• Track and trace loads: Prioritize loads based on urgency and customer expectations, proactively make check-calls, enter event logs in loads, enable drivers on Macropoint and proactively call carriers when they are falling behind OTD or stop tracking mid-transit.
• Handle of transit incidences: Internal escalations when necessary (notification of driver fall-offs, breakdowns, damaged & rejected goods, TONUs, detention). Ask drivers additional questions to give effective updates internally, and add accessorials, detention, issuing comchecks.
• Booking/Recovering loads: think critically to complete the following tasks associated with booking trucks & meeting customer expectations. Negotiate rate with carrier. Book carrier, obtain driver information, and ensure OTP.
• Customer portals: Update shipments within our handful of customer portals.
• Pending Items Report: Review the end-of-day handful report for a seamless transition into the weekend. Create end-of-shift pending items report to outline any and all loads that require immediate attention the following day.
• Building loads: Learn how to build loads via Load Tender Express, via EDI, or via customer email. Request and schedule appointments based on availability & truck ETAs.
• Weekend customer opportunities via email: Quote loads for customers, provide the truck ETA, location, and know to give the customer a timeline. Communicate with the customer to lock down the load opportunity and ask customers for other load opportunities.
• SPOT Freight: Execute SPOT loads. Post load, vet carriers, quote effectively to customer, correspond to customer and carrier and ultimately book truck on load for on-time performance.
• Be available: Tell customers that we are here to support and take care of anything they need.

Minimum requirements:

• Studies: High School Degree is required. Desirable (but not required) studies in International Business, Business Administration, Foreign Languages, Logistics, or administrative related. Other studies are also considered.
• Experience: At least 1 year of experience in customer service roles. Having experience in freight brokerage is a plus.
• Language: Advanced English skills. C1 or higher is preferred.

Perks:

• Schedule: Thursday to Monday from 6:00 am to 3:00 pm or 7:00 am to 4:00 pm., following the American calendar. During the first weeks (training period), the schedule will be Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
• Contract: Special emerging contract (After the second year, the contract will be renewed to an Indefinite term contract) + Benefits.
• Places: Only for Guayaquil, Ecuador. This position will be on-site at Regus Guayaquil (4 Pasaje 1 NE, Mall del Sol, 4th Floor Torres del Mall).
• Salary: 800 USD per month + Incentives/Commissions.
