Cargo Operation Regional Manager (Based in Egypt)
Air France-KLM Cargo are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Cargo Operations Regional Manager.
Summary of the position:
Cargo Operations Regional Manager will be responsible for implementing operational strategies within the North West Africa and Levant market. Your primary objective will be to achieve high-quality standards, operational integrity, and cost efficiency while ensuring compliance with flight safety, security, and quality regulations. You will collaborate closely with various departments and local authorities to optimize aircraft capacity utilization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team management, including internal and external staff, to achieve organizational objectives.
- Ensure operational integrity and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to and monitor the implementation of the Market Flight Plan objectives.
- Conduct internal and external audits and investigate and implement corrective actions.
- Implement and maintain the Safety Management System (SMS).
- Organize and implement operational procedures for import and export activities.
- Manage and improve quality performance through operational tools and measurement systems.
- Prepare and manage budget costs and implement cost control measures.
- Oversee capital asset control, including managing AFKL Cargo assets.
- Manage subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring performance meets contractual requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Operational experience in logistic
- Knowledge of Cargo operational procedures.
- Fluent in English and Arabic. (French is a plus)
- Familiarity with aviation national and international regulations.
- Strong decision-making and initiative-taking abilities.
- Excellent communication and diplomatic skills.
- Exemplary behavior and persuasiveness.
- Proficiency in computer applications.
- Autonomy, meticulousness, and rigor.
