As a Category Manager, you will be responsible for building relationships with sellers, adding selection, overseeing sellers negotiations, planning marketing promotions, and contributing to the company’s category growth rate. You should have a wealth of knowledge about a product or range and experience analysing new business opportunities.

Description:
As a Category Manager, you will be responsible for building relationships with sellers, adding selection, overseeing sellers negotiations, planning marketing promotions, and contributing to the company’s category growth rate. You should have a wealth of knowledge about a product or range and experience analysing new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Scan the Market for potential Home Decor Sellers and draft deals with them.
- Onboarding the new sellers, starting with product selection, datasheet preparation, photo shooting, and final product upload.
- Manage inventory, inventory health, item level forecasting, increasing SKUs, and adding new product categories.
- Negotiate deals and promotions on seasonal occasions with sellers to maximize sales from all assigned accounts, plan & forecast for the seasonal products.
- Solving the sellers’ problems.
- Content submission as per commercial targets.
- Completing tasks and meeting weekly targets on time.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Must have a valid driving license and a car.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position in the e-commerce field.
- Proficiency in vendor management.
- Good business judgment with a track record of successful negotiations.
- Highly computer literate, adept at Excel, Google Sheets, and Power Point, and highly online savvy.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a target-driven company; Hard-negotiator, a deal maker.
- A keen eye for spotting market trends with a willingness to inspire clients.
