About the role
We are looking for a dynamic People Specialist to lead Talent Acquisition and Development efforts for office in Egypt. This role requires a mix of 80% Talent Acquisition and 20% Development/People Business Partner responsibilities, with an emphasis on talent acquisition during the initial phase.
This role has a hierarchy report to the Headquarters in Portugal and a functional report to our Delivery Senior Manager in Egypt.

As a part of your job, you will:
- Manage the entire Celfocus Egypt recruitment process including requisition approval, hiring manager briefing, job advertising, candidate sourcing, application review, candidate screening, interview strategy and offer process.
- Build and maintain candidate pools of strong candidates and new prospective candidates within the different capabilities.
- Conduct weekly check-ins with active candidates and hiring managers throughout the entire recruiting process for each role.
- Support planning and gathering information for quarterly review meetings with key stakeholders that will provide an overview of recruiting achievements as well as opportunities to improve hiring performance moving forward.
- Utilize recruitment systems effectively following key standards, documenting key actions and ensuring all data is accurate for reporting purposes.
- Support additional recruitment initiatives as needed.
- Support for local Onboarding, and Employees' Performance Evaluation
- Monitor job market trends in Egypt and make recommendations for changes to Celfocus Egypt recruitment strategies.
- Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures as required, ensuring compliance with local regulations and standards.
- Collate and analyze employee feedback across all levels on a regular basis and develop recommendations and strategies to generate more positive outcomes.
- Responsible for EDC Employer branding, and in handling relations between the Celfocus Egypt and Universities/Schools/Institutes
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree business administration/Management OR Similar
- Minimum of 6 years’ experience in talent acquisition ideally within a fast-paced agency or client.
- Track record for delivering high-impact customer experiences and implementing new solutions to support their business area.
- Track record of driving recruiting initiatives (i.e. proactive recruiting, internal recruiting, diversity, etc) and achieving goals.
- Demonstrated ability to drive holistic recruitment strategy (i.e. employer branding, social recruiting, etc.)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Experience with applicant tracking systems and other recruitment tools
