We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Quality Control Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this entry-level role, you will assist in ensuring that our software products meet rigorous quality standards. You will play a vital part in the software development lifecycle by supporting experienced engineers in testing and validating applications before they reach our clients.
As a junior he/she will be responsible for assisting in the quality assurance process of our software applications. You will work closely with senior testers and developers to ensure that software products meet the required quality standards and function as intended.
Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 months of testing experience
• Basic understanding of test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit) is a plus.
• Familiarity with software testing methodologies (e.g., functional testing, regression testing).
• Excellent knowledge with APIs (RESTFUL/SOAP)
• Banking domain business knowledge
• "ISTQB Advanced level certificate" is must
• Experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA) is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• A willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements.
• Execute manual test cases and record results accurately.
• Document defects and issues, and assist in tracking their resolution.
• Collaborate with senior QA engineers to review testing methodologies and optimizations.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions about quality improvements.
• Keep up to date with industry trends and best practices in software quality assurance.
• Review Analysis Documents.
• Writing, Executing DB scripts.
• Create/Execute test cases.
• Report defects on bug-tracking system.
• Follow up issues till closure.
• Prepare Deployment Packages to be deployed on UAT, Production environments
