Planning Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Planning Manager. The Planning Manager will be responsible for developing and managing production and inventory plans to meet customer demand while minimizing costs. This position requires strong analytical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to coordinate effectively with various departments to ensure seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain strategic forecasts for production and inventory levels.
- Collaborate with the Supply Chain and Operations teams to ensure alignment on demand forecasts and resource allocation.
- Analyze sales trends and market conditions to make informed planning decisions.
- Lead the planning process and improve existing planning tools and methodologies.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to inventory levels and production schedules.
- Identify potential supply chain issues and develop contingency plans.
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any supply issues.
- Participate in regular meetings with cross-functional teams to ensure actions are taken to meet business objectives.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong background in retail industry it's a MUST
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in planning or supply chain management, preferably in the retail sector.
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
- Proficiency in planning software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Keen attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.
