Senior Node.js Developer

Founded in 2012, Evolvice has a strong technical background and business domain knowledge, combining software engineering and Agile methodology, leading its’ clients‘ path to digital transformation. Headquartered in the heart of the automobile industry, Stuttgart (Germany), our expertise stretches from automotive, healthcare, travel, financial, governmental, and insurance to manufacturing industries.
Our team is over 50 people including web (C#/.NET, Java, JS) & mobile (i OS/Android/Ionic) developers together with business analysts, project managers, QA, and support staff. Our corporate culture is characterized by agile processes, autonomous teams without hierarchies, as well as openness and transparency – both internally and with our clients. Currently, we are searching for Senior Performance Engineer to join the big team of professionals. We are looking for an active, responsive, and devoted person.

Your Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Node.js development, with at least 2 years working with Nest JS.
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Clean Architecture.
- Proven experience with e-commerce platforms and payment systems.
- Proficient in building and maintaining real-time applications using Socket.IO and Web Sockets.
- Hands-on experience with microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, Java Script, and frameworks like Angular/React is a plus.
- Knowledge of database management systems like Postgre SQL, Mongo DB, or SQL Server.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is preferred.
- Experience with Docker and containerization.
- Experience working within Agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Design, develop, and maintain Node.js applications using the Nest JS framework with a focus on Clean Architecture principles.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Implement and integrate payment gateways and other e-commerce functionalities.
- Ensure the performance, scalability, and responsiveness of applications.
- Develop and maintain real-time applications using Socket.IO and Web Sockets for live auction functionalities.
- Architect and develop microservices to support scalable, modular application design.
- Utilize Docker for containerization and manage Docker containers in development and production environments.
- Work within Agile development frameworks, participate in sprint planning, and contribute to continuous improvement processes.
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks and bugs in existing applications.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our applications are competitive.
- Participate in the entire application lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment.
- Mentor junior developers and share knowledge within the team.
