- Leading and managing the site supervision team, ensuring that all activities are performed according to the approved designs, timelines, and safety standards.
- Coordinating with contractors, subcontractors, and other engineering teams to ensure smooth and efficient site operations.
- Monitoring the progress of construction activities and ensuring that they meet the project’s quality, safety, and environmental standards.
- Conducting regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) guidelines.
- Managing the resolution of any technical issues or challenges that arise on-site, providing guidance and solutions to the construction teams.
- Preparing detailed progress reports, documenting site activities, and reporting to the Project Manager and other stakeholders.
- Ensuring that all necessary permits, approvals, and regulatory requirements are obtained and maintained throughout the project.
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field, with extensive experience in infrastructure or wastewater treatment projects.
- A minimum of 10-15 years of experience in construction supervision, with at least 5 years as a team leader or similar role on large infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience in managing on-site construction activities for wastewater treatment plants or similar large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction standards, HSE regulations, and quality control procedures.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams on-site.
- Fluency in English is required (knowledge of Arabic is an advantage).
- Strong leadership and organizational skills to manage construction teams and ensure smooth site operations.
- Proficiency in managing large-scale construction projects, with a focus on safety, quality, and adherence to schedules.
- Expertise in resolving on-site technical challenges and coordinating between different project stakeholders.
- Familiarity with international construction standards and best practices in wastewater treatment projects.
