JOENSUU CITY ORCHESTRA - FINLAND
The Joensuu City Orchestra with its 35 musicians is an energetic ensemble with a varied repertoire. Its home venue is the Carelia Hall. Artistic Director is Jukka Untamala and Artistic Partners are Minna Pensola and Antti Tikkanen.

AUDITION
Audition date Saturday November 9th 2024 at 1 p.m.
Place Joensuu Conservatory Concert Hall, Yliopistokatu 4, 80100 Joensuu


Set of works / associate concertmaster
1. W.A.Mozart: the 1st movement with cadenza from one of the following concertos: No.3 in G Major, No.4 in D Major or No.5 in A Major
2. 1st movement with cadenza from one of the following concertos: Beethoven, Brahms, Sibelius or Tchaikovsky
3. Orchestral excerpts and chamber music


The invitation will be sent after the closing date. Please remember to say in application whether or not you wish to use our pianist in audition. Use of your own accompanist by your own expenses is also allowed.


Associate concertmaster job-specific salary is 3 509,72 -3790,50€ plus instrument and concert attire allowance plus media compensation, possible adds and terms of employment are determined in accordance with the municipal general employment contract (KVTES). Starting date of employment is January 8th 2025 or as agreed. The audition includes an interview. The job includes 6 months trial period.
