KONE's Global Spares Supply (GSS) plans, sources and delivers quality spare parts and maintenance materials to KONE frontlines and distributors across the globe. We stock over 60,000 materials across 3 distribution centers and fulfill over 600,000 orders per year. GSS plays a key role in enabling our maintenance business to achieve sustainable success with customers.

We are now looking for a

Business Development Specialist

to join the Maintenance Spares Support (MSS) Team in the Global Spares Supply (GSS) Unit.

As business development specialist, you will have hybrid responsibilities between our direct sales and frontline (FL) support functions, both primarily focused on improving our way of working through development projects. In direct sales, you will plan and execute the roll-out of new e-commerce platform to external customers, support in spares pricing planning, and provide operative support to priority customer inquiries where needed. Additionally in FL support side, you will be the dedicated support responsible for 1-2 KONE frontlines, and handle new unit offering support activities along with analytics tasks.

In this position, your main responsibilities include:

Product Information Portal concepting and roll-out planning for direct sales in collaboration with development and external sales support teams.
Support in external customer pricing for externals and KONE authorized distributors.
1-2 FL support scope of responsibility, responsible for defining business requirement for new offering & process development needs.
Develop new offering funnel process to expand promotional efforts of new materials, in collaboration with technical teams.
Preparing and presenting sales and other business analyses.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

Bachelor or Master’s degree in Supply chain, Engineering, Economics, Information-oriented Business Administration or other relevant field, or equivalent experience.
Critical thinking skills, ability to define problems, establish facts and draw conclusions.
Strong learning agility and ability to learn on-the-go.
Prior experience working in large matrix organization with complex stakeholder networks.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across functions in an international environment in English.
Willingness to travel occasionally.

This role is located in Hyvinkää, Finland where Global Spares Supply (GSS) unit headquarter is based.
