Would you be our new Chief Piping Engineer?
We are looking for Chief Piping Engineer to be part of our Plant and Solution Delivery engineering team. In this position, you are responsible for managing and coordinating the design activities of our global plant arrangement design projects. Your main task as Chief Engineer would be to act as a project lead and manage quality, schedule, and cost in your projects. In this role you will also participate in developing Metso's concentrator and hydrometallurgical plants and engineering solutions, as well as provide support and plan requirements to procurement.
The position is permanent and fulltime, and located in Espoo, with hybrid working model. As our projects are global, we can also offer you opportunities for international assignments or visits to our sites.
What are we looking for?
To be successful in this role you need to have a technical education (B.Eng., M.Eng. or M.Sc.) and few years of relevant work experience. We hope you have knowledge of our most used CAD tools (Aveva E3D, PDMS, Open Plant or Microstation 3D). To succeed, you also need to be able to communicate fluently in English (spoken and written).
As a person, we hope to find someone who has a precise way to work, and can plan, schedule, coordinate and solve problems effectively. In this position, you also need good interpersonal skills, as you need to work in close co-operation with various stakeholders.
